Blackjack is a casino game where you can choose to rely solely on luck – but the chance of return increases greatly if you use a strategy instead. In blackjack, you can on your own affect the outcome of the game.
We have listed the 5 best tips to use when playing blackjack live, as well as the three best gaming sites that offer live blackjack.
1. Keep your head cold
When playing blackjack, it is wise to stick to a strategy, such as which cards to stop, or when it is time to draw more cards. However, sometimes it can get very intense and you may forget your strategy in the heat of the moment. Instead, try to keep your head cool and stick to your strategy – it usually pays off in the long run.
2. Give the dealer a chance to go thick
The dealer must always stay at 17 or higher. If the dealer sits at 6 or lower, you should therefore always refrain from drawing cards as soon as you get 12 or higher on hand. There is an overwhelming majority of cards worth 10 when playing blackjack – which means that the risk of the dealer getting two ten cards on the rake and thus going thick is very large.
3. Always stay on hard 17 and over
As soon as you hit hard 17 or higher, you should stop, as these hands have a great chance of giving you a profit. The dealer must, as is well known, continue to draw until he has received at least 17, and even if the dealer sits with an ace, or a ten card – which reduces the chance of you winning – the risk is, however, that you will get thick if you continue to draw cards. Of two bad decisions, it is important to choose the least bad one.
4. Never take out insurance
Each time the dealer sits with an ace as the base card, you can choose to take out insurance. It really means that you are betting on the dealer getting a blackjack, and if he gets it, the payout is 2: 1. In other words, you get to keep the bet plus the insurance – that is, you go plus minus zero.
If, on the other hand, the dealer does not receive a blackjack, you will lose your insurance and possibly your bet, depending on the cards that come up later.
5. Keep track of the casino’s rules of play
Even if you think you have a hard look at the rules of blackjack – they can differ between different casinos and between different game variants. For example, the dealer may be allowed to draw cards on a soft 17 in a game version, while it must stay on the same denomination in another version. Keeping track of what’s in place makes it easier for you to drive your tactics, while not having to worry about unpleasant surprises in the form of losses where you thought you won, for example.
Top 3 game operators to play live blackjack at
It can sometimes be difficult to know at which casino to choose to play. We have therefore listed our 3 favorites – all of which of course have a Swedish gaming license, so you can feel completely safe when playing.
1. Rapidi Casino
Rapidi is a pure and really game friendly casino with a huge selection of different slots and table games. They have a live casino where, pleasingly, you not only find games from Evolution Gaming – which otherwise tend to be the only option – but also from NetEnt. Fun, we think!
In addition to this, they also offer quick registration processes and withdrawals via the Swedes’ favorite Trustly.
Paf may be the ultimate casino. Not only do they offer all sorts of casino games, such as slots, table games, live casinos, poker, bingo and betting (puh!) – they also share their surplus for social purposes. Could it be better than that ?! Hardly.
Also in Paf’s live casino games are found from both NetEnt and Evolution Gaming. The offer in their live casino is also really good, with many different choices.
Faster is a really cozy casino, where you feel well taken care of. They offer game guides so that you as a player should feel confident that you know how your casino game is going. These guides are also excellent to use for the more experienced player, who wants to get some tips and inspiration about his playing.
In their live casino you will find several different versions of live blackjack. You’ll also find Faster Blackjack, which is a blackjack that is exclusive to that particular casino – really fun, we think!
